This is a two (2) Guard post with a primary responsibility of enforcing the access control measures of the facility and portraying a professional and thorough security presence within the facility.

Post #1: First Floor Monitor (shift 1 and when Social Services are closed):
Location: 1st Floor.
Post 2A (Dorms 1–3 /Bathroom Area/Recreation Area Monitor):
Location: 2nd floor
This is a one (1) Security/ Fireguard STANDING POST that is responsible for providing a professional security presence and the following:
Examples of unauthorized items and activities include: Smoking, lit candles or incense, any plugged-in Unauthorized electronics, drug usage or food, lighters or matches.
Post 2B:Dorms 4–5 /Bathroom Area/Recreation Area Monitor:
Location: 2nd Floor
This is a One (1) Security/ Fireguard ROAMING POST that is responsible for providing a professional security presence and the following:
Examples of unauthorized items and activities include: Smoking, lit candles or incense, any plugged-in Unauthorized electronics, drug usage or food, lighters or matches.
Post: Post 1, Social Services Office Monitor
Location:1st Floor Social Services Office
Clients at times vent to their case managers and it appears to be more than that. The case managers will be instructed to ask for assistance in the event the session is no longer productive.
If the guard hears the case manager state that the session is over, the guard should then escort the client out of the social service area.
GUARDS AT NO TIME SHOULD INTERFERE WITH ANY SESSIONS EXCEPT CASE WORKERS REQUEST GUARD INTERVENTION. AT WHICH POINT A CODE BLUE SHOULD BE CALLED.
